Step into the world of THIES, a pioneering footwear brand helmed by sixth-generation designer Sebastian THIES. With roots tracing back to 1856, Sebastian carries his family’s legacy forward with eco-innovative sneakers crafted from materials like wood, moss, and recycled PET, all responsibly produced in Europe.

The Squirrel Logo:
In 1953, Walter THIES formed an unlikely bond with a squirrel that frequently visited his factory for treats. Their charming friendship inspired the brand’s enduring squirrel logo, a symbol of connection and heritage.

Materials: 100% Vegan, made with Bio Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) that is derived from plant-based materials rather than petroleum. Bio TPU uses bio-based ingredients, often from sources like corn, castor beans, or other renewable resources.
Insole is EVA which is a type of plastic known for being lightweight, flexible, and durable. It’s commonly used in footwear due to its excellent cushioning properties, making it ideal for shock absorption and comfort.
