Our Story
Since Minuit Sur Terre was founded in 2017, ethics has always been the value that drives us every day.
We are committed to offering pieces (shoes, leather goods) made without animal materials and with the lowest possible environmental impact, without compromising on style or quality. Born out of a frustration — not being able to find shoes that combined fashion and ethics — we renew our collections season after season with the same ambition: to offer modern, desirable creations made with respect for animals, for men and women, and for the Earth.
Our grape based material
We were the first in France to use this revolutionary material made from grapes and vegetable oils. But that is not the only plant-based material we use. Apples, cereals, plastic bottles recovered from the Mediterranean, recycled cotton... We turn to eco-friendly and recycled alternatives to design products that respect the planet and animals.

No leather, no guilt
From the beginning, our mission has been to offer a durable, ecological, high-quality alternative to animal leather.All our products are certified by PETA and therefore contain no animal-derived materials: they are 100% vegan and cruelty-free.
Close to our workshops
All our models are crafted with the greatest care in our Portuguese workshops. Since 2016, we have worked with the same family-run workshops located in the Porto region of Portugal, less than 1,000 kilometers from our offices in order to limit our carbon footprint. The know-how is passed down from generation to generation, ensuring a high level of quality.
A fair and justified price
Transparency is essential to us, and we have nothing to hide.
Being transparent about our costs is essential for us as an eco-responsible brand, so that you can make your own informed choices. Our prices are fair all year round, which is why we do not hold sales: we set our prices so that they respect all our stakeholders (suppliers, manufacturers, and customers).
